“Golden Goose hosted our 3 man hunting party for a 3 day hunt a few days before Thanksgiving. Long story short, these guys are the real deal. I’ve hunted on guided and self guided hunts in ND, SD, IA, MI and IN. Out of all of those hunts this one was of the most memorable! Chandler and his guides bent over backwards to make us feel welcomed and put us on the birds. By the end of our time together I felt like I was hunting with my buddies from back home.

Before this trip I’d never been to Mound City and wasn’t quite sure what I should expect. Chandler reached out several times leading up to our trip to make sure all my questions were answered and to give me hunting reports.

When we arrived we found the lodge was clean and comfortable and the home cooked meals were delicious. In the blind, the guides were hard working, knowledgeable, and patient with my young retriever.

I could make this review unnecessary long winded listing all the great things we experienced hunting with Golden Goose but I’ll digress. Give them a try and you’ll most likely windup like me writing a glowing Google review on the long ride home with a full cooler, tired dog, and a sore shoulder.”
